Golden Eagle’s homework this week was to draw their own cover for the book ‘The Midnight Fox’ by the author Betsy Byars. Below are some examples of what we produced:
Poppy’s cover shows Tom’s first sighting of the fox
Frank shows the fox in its natural habitat
Will took inspiration from the cover of the book we were reading in class
Eleanor shows Tom, the fox and her cub
Jessie’s dramatic picture focuses on Tom’s ‘daring rescue’
Gabriel uses a simple design to show the reader what the story is about
Florrie’s cover has a simple but effective design
Freya’s excellent picture shows Tom breaking the cub out of the rabbit hutch
Anna captures a dramatic moment from the story
Kate’s colourful cover created using crayons
E.S. Is that Tom on the cover? It looks more like Hazeline. Which part of the story does your illustration refer to? BTW has anyone ever told you that you write your N the wrong way round? 😦
Yes Mr H u have told me that a billon times and sos about tom his hair went weird.
